Character Designs! 8-bit goooodness.

Listening to Leonard Cohen, The Future.

Some amazing character designs from Eye-Screamer William Littlejohn, featuring some heroes and nefarious looking villains from his upcoming 8-bit inspired segment! Awesomtacular stuff, Will!

It's been an insanely busy week here at Eye-Scream. We are currently designing an intro sequence, something that captures the pace, mood and ethos of Eye-Scream in 30secs. I have to say, it's looking very rad! The more designs, submissions and scripts I see the more inspired I am about the pool of talent that has surrounded the project.

Also, Eye-Scream may be featuring brain-melting 3Dimensional content, so here is a step-by-step guide to get your sticky mitts on some 3D specs without spending a quid!

Words of destiny

Listening to: Baroness, Blue Record

Progress bars are flying along here at Eye-Scream HQ, with animatics, scripts, love-letters and offers of mail order brides choking our inbox. Eye-Screamer Howden, J. has just submitted a screenplay full of drama, action, 'splosions, orange furry things and epic Gat licks. We had to blur some words to protect the innocent, but we can reveal that it's written in 12pt courier font, black-on white, and mostly in english.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback and support over the last few months. We can't wait to reveal more about the project, the people and the potential. Keep an eye on the 'Babby Birthing' in the side bar, counting down to a very special announcement.

And most of all, Eye-Scream belongs to you! Pet and fed it.

El Quebracho: Day labourer extraordinaire!

Listening to: The Klaxons, Myths Of The Near Future

El Quebracho is mache-ing like his life depends on it (and it does, because we won't feed him otherwise)!

These shots were taken with a special high-shutter speed camera, as most cameras are unable to capture El Quebracho's lighting fast movement and just produce a blurry mess of limbs, streaks, sweat and tacos.

Before you ask-no, the digital blur around the South Islander's face isn't present because he was accused of some unnatural love affair betwixt man and sheep-those rumours were mostly unfounded. We had to blur the Pro-Wrestler's face because his skull mask came off in the craft-frenzy.

If anyone wants to see a video of El Quebracho wrestling a chair, please tell us. We are trying to convince him, but he is bashful, and needs your encouragement. C'mon peeps-that chair won't wrestle itself!!!

Kraftwerk Stage 05- 1st prop completeness!

Listening to: HEALTH, Disco 2

Finished the eye...now for the rest of the scene! I'm developing a weird felt-fetish. Don't be surprised if you see me behind a trestle table at some obscure craft fair that you only went to because your Mum is in town.

El Quebracho vs Paper! In phantasmagorial 3D!!!!!

Listening to: Kill Bill Vol. 01

Thanks to everybody for the outpouring of support for our South Island pro-wrestling intern, the mighty El Quebracho! The southern-strongman sends his love (at least, that's what I think was saying).

El Quebracho is busy tearing ream upon ream of paper apart with his bare hands, in a paper-mache frenzy that is sure to anger environmentalists across New Zealand.

Many people have contacted us pleading for information on how to view El Quebracho's exciting pics in their full 3D goodness. Never fear folks, we are currently preparing an instructional video detailing how to make your own 3D glasses, presented by the five-time Southern Wresting Federation (S.W.F.) champion- El Quebracho himself! And maybe he will even show us his signature move-the deadly Joto-gota (neck-drop)!

Intern slave! (I mean, 90 day trial employee) In mindbending 3D!!!!!!!!

Listening to: The Decemberists, Castaways and Cutouts

We at Eye-Scream would like to introduce El Quebracho, our new P.A.! El Quebracho is from the South Island so he doesn't speak much english, but he makes a mean Fappuccino.
Back in his home town of Invercargill, El Quebracho is a pro-wrestling superstar. Like the famous Mexican wrestler Santo, it is a great dishonor for him to be seen without his mask. Why hire a P.A. who has a resume mainly consisting of leg-locks and full-nelsons? Because he is free and can suplex anyone that gets in our way, essay!
El Quebracho is busy with some paper-mache at the moment, a skill he has developed after years of making Pinata's for local orphans.

Keep up the good work, El Quebracho-you're a credit to the south!

Kraftwerk Stage 03: Ladyfingers

Sarah has stepped up for some 'co-producing', while my fingers stop bleeding.

Kraftwerk Stage 02

What is he making? A teeny, tiny Klan uniform? Underwear for a cat? A time machine?

Kraftwerk Stage 01

Craft work is easy, when you know how or are good with your hands. I am totally boned.
